Life in the Werk SQUAD

We are a highly-collaborative group of people who are passionate about galaxies and spectra. We support each other’s work, and challenge each other to be the best versions of ourselves.

When you join the Werk SQuAD, you are joining other students who enjoy working as part of a team toward a common scientific goal. During the academic quarters, we all meet as a group for at least one hour every week. We have a dedicated Slack Space and a Virtual Machine where we frequently exchange ideas and code together.

Our key values as a team

Collaboration

We work together and freely share our resources.

Curiosity

We are driven to understand the composition of the universe.

Creativity

We use a variety of methods and value new ideas.
